caffeine...

I usually never drink caffeine, but tonight I drank a bottle of Bawls energy drink with a friend and wow. I dident know what I was missing. What do you guys think about it?

well for some reson those drinks have turine in them witch is a cat proteine but some how that gives you energy plus the caffine i dont like caffine i dont like meny stayawakes any more

the protien is Taurine, and is an essential amino acid intimately related to sugar metabolism/energy produciton, which is why it's in there.

down here in the rio grande, they have a drink called monster. yall probly heard of it. taurine and rabid wombat extract, caffine, ginsing, shoe leather and anything else they think can justify 2 bucks a can. however...they have it in a blue flavor...and a green...and both are VERY tasty if nothing else. sometimes coffee just isnt what you want. i still cant believe people are drining red bull with that tiny little can lol.

all that marketed crap it so cheaply made and very little percentages of the natural herbs are in the stores version of a so called "sports drink" ...what I am trying to say that home made is better than store bought stuff. mang! duherrr!

Caffeine is very good until you build up a tolerance. Then it's just a fact of life. :wink:

yeah. its spendy....and i AMMMM a good consumer. but i cant avoid the fact that the blue version of monster tastes unlike anything ive ever tried before. its really good. and i cant make it at home. and its REALLY good.

How long do you think it will take to build a tolerence? Or how much caffine total to eventualy get a tolerence?

Any tips on how to not get a tolerence?

It catches you pretty quick, you don't even realize the boost anymore, you only notice the lethargy when you miss a morning coffee session.

The only tip to not get a tolerence is not to use caffiene everyday. Space it out every now and then, or else it will become a routine/habit.

what would you reccomend with Bawls, it has 74mgs of caffine at 2.5 times the strength of coffie.

well that depends on your coffee, a good strong cup of coffee can have close to 100mg of caffine. while caffee pills which can be purchased at your local CVS/grocery store/wal-mart... have 200mg per pill. which is a not so subtle way to keep you awake. tolerence comes on relatively fast, but you will still get the associative feelings forever really. but i notice a lack of effectiveness after 3 or 4 weeks of daily use. sometimes shorter depending on how long i let my system recover. im sure it varys from person to person though

i dont know. if you're like me and drink 4-6 cups a day....lol...sometimes more. after years i havent really notice a tollerance.
