Ummm not really, looks more like Stamets's pearl oyster strain. Actually i don't really like the taste of pink oysters so much; they are a bit tough and tend smell very strongly of fish :)

It's true that they smell a little fishy. I like to saute them with butter and garlic. It kills the smell. I think they taste excellent that way.

PC, do you have any recent pictures of that little clump maturing? It'll be dead obvious when they're an edible size. Make sure to take prints of that-this fall, when the wild oysters bloom, I plan on taking prints...

Boy, it's really pinning heavily. The big bunches look normal, but the smaller pins forming from the 'branches' look like lion's mane or something. weird.

What is your sub? I can't tell if it's straw or wood or both..

I would try to keep the RH around 90%, keep the light on them and do more air exchanges.
