alright, watched medicine man last night, i'd say 7/10, maybe a little higher

and elf, the first time i watched that i was trippin, and MAN was it hillarious.

i saw sideways the other night. pretty good movie. i had no idea what it was about before i went into the theatre, so that made it interesting!

Barely legal #21.
I'll give you a synopsis. This guy's jacuzzi is broken and the person who comes round to fix it, the jacuzzi repairman you know, is an 18 year old blonde girl. And he's sitting on the jacuzzi wearing a towel. And he takes off his towel and says something like "don't you want to get more comfortable like me?" and so yeah, she gets nekkid and they have sex.
In the next scene this realtor girl, who is also 18 years old, goes round to this apartment she is trying to sell, and she calls her boyfriend over, and they have sex.
Then there is a lesbian scene. I forget how that came about.
Finally there is another scene where this girl is lying on her bed and she wants there to be a fire, so she goes round to her neighbors house and sneaks up on his bathroom window while he is shaving, and she asks him to come over and help her make a fire. So he comes over, but it's really weird cause the fire is already laid and he just chucks a match in. But while he's doing that she takes off her shirt. And he turns around and is all embarrassed, but then she asks him to come and have sex with her and they have sex. It was a good movie. There was good acting, good character development.

It's set in post-civil war spain, and apparently is intended as an allegory for Franco's regim?, in which respect I thought it completely unsuccessful. However, it's shot nicely, the child actors are brilliant and purely as a story, it's pretty good.

watched lost in translation the other day.. 9.5/10.. i own it.. so its deff. good.

i also watched "the swimmer" in english composition last week.. its an old movie where a guy swims through all his neighbors pools to get home, pretty dumb and funny. Its a movie that would fit into mystery science theater 3000.
