My first website and some great music
    #3412247 - 11/26/04 02:27 PM (12 years, 13 days ago)

So I did a website for my friends band a while back. Its the first time Ive ever did any sort of web design. Did it all on flash, it runs a little slow, but Ima gonna try ta fix it soon. Make sure the volumes on cause it plays their songs on it. Let me know what you think of them and the site.

Lots of loading for someone if they had to use a 56k like I do at home, but here at work it looks awesome.

Really well done man, I like the band descriptions too, and how it was laid out with the bobbing cartoonish looking pictures of the band members.

People pay a lot of money for that type of work.  If you liked it, you could do that for a career.

Born: 10/31/83, which makes me a Scorpio.

1) Scorpios are the most highly sexed of all the signs of the zodiac.
2) Scorpios are prone to excesses: booze, drugs, sex, bad puns, etc.
They usually exploit the weaknesses of others, who fall victim to
their capacity for total lust & sexual abberation.
3) Scorpios possess great intellectual curiosity & creative talent. They
think they are rebels & are arrogant, proud, conceited, and worth every
penny of it.

What do you bring to the table?

yeah I probably could get some work, but right now I'm just kinda doin the jack of all trade things. One day when it becomes pertinent I'll settle down and do one thing or another... or just start a business that whores myself out to peoples creative needs

As far as loading time goes, I know its sucky for 56kers. Id like to do an HTML version for slow connects, but probono work gets put on the back burner sometimes.

the website is good except for being slow like you say

the band looks pretty dumb, and they obviously just couldn't
think of a good bandname except for stealing from franz ferdinand

thats funny I didnt even realize they were playing tomorrow hehe. Im so lost as to what day it is lately. My teachers being on strike plus the holiday weekend have totally thrown me for a loop. But yeah I'll be there, you should come out. They are really fun live. Hope to see you out there... venue seems odd though
