Just out of curiosity, are any of the other hunting forum regulars/mods getting sick of these "How have pickings been in <X> area?" type posts?

Anyone think we need a rule against it? I find these kind of posts to be quite annoying.

Digicube: this isn't a direct attack on you, it's just addressing an issue that needs to be addressed.

I've thought it to be fairly important information to exchange, especially for noobs who may need a hint of what to look for in their area. Also, enlightening in regard to what's going on (or not) in locations across the globe.

It would've been nice if the shroomery was around back in the 80's when I started shrooming to share info like that.

Sorry, dig. I was in MS a couple weeks back and things looked bad. The recent rains may have helped though if the temp stays up.
