Mushrooms in Mississippi

Hello. I am from the state of Mississippi, and I am new to mushrooms. I've been wanting to experiment with them for a while so I just really started researching them. My question is, is Mississippi a good place to find mushrooms, or would I have better luck in another location? I live somewhat in the country (between towns), and I live close to a levee where the feed cows. I am just curious if I would have luck in this area or do the cows have to be fed a certain kind of food?

If they are fed natural organic food then it could be a nice place to find some mushrooms. Investigate, search and learn, that's the way.

hahaha hey bro, i live in madison..near the ross barnett resivoir.do you live anywhere near jackson??? miss. is a great place to find shrooms...i have a pasture near me that is only like 2 acres..and i find like 10 on avg.
miss. is always hot and humid, and its our rainy season!!! go out and hunt..i go to madison central..im intrested in meetin up with you..how old are you? im 16
