Gage...Don't let Daddy bury the needle in your arm
    #340018 - 06/13/01 05:32 PM (23 years, 5 months ago)

Will 20 gauge needles be too small for a spore solution? My friend gave me 18 gauge, but she only had access to 1inch peices. She says the largest gauge in 1&1/2 in. lengths is 20.
So....
do I need to go shopping or can I use the freebies?
Either way, at least I've got a free syringe source:)

Yes, they will work fine. The spores you're probably working with are 6-10 microns in diameter. The big problem, as you pointed out, is with the length of the needles on the smaller gauges.

Thanks to both of you. When you put a dollar in a gas tank in order to get down the road, instead of getting the print you really want, you kinda hope to use the resources available to you, ya know?

Don't bury them in the bad place.
