Getting my bags to pin

I exposed my bags to light about 5 days ago and they still arent pinning. They are in 80 degrees, which is about the same as the temp during incubation. anby tips to help them pin? I am fruting one in a terrarium, and it hasnt started pinning either. Both are exposed to 12 hrs of light a day. I put the bags in the fridge tonight, for a cold shock, maybe that will help. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cold shock would have been smarter 5 days ago, but late is better than never I suppose. 5 days isn't horribly long to wait for pins, the 80 degree temp. is probably the culprit. Also are you fanning to reduce co2, another pinning trigger.

I fan the terrarium I am unsure how I could fan the bags. Fucking A/c is broken and I cant lower the temp. This sucks because now my grow might not be successful.

Could I cold shock the cake too. If so what would I do, put it in a bag or something? I am really worried these bags are goin to be unsuccessful. If anyone has any experience with bags or any tips that would help this grow be successful that would rock

Yeah I use mycobags all the time. Well...try to lower the temp if u can...80 is fine if it's the peak temperature like...when u have a light on but if u can lower the temp...that may help. Make sure they get a good 12 hours of light or more until they start pinning. Sometimes it helps to let the cake outa' the bag, cut the bag open and let the sides touch the air...you can leave the bottom of the bag if you want. Fanning a lot is good, you need to increase the oxygen in your terrarium. You can also take a small jar or something and put some perlite in it w/ a peroxide solution. Peroxide comes in brown bottles @ 3% hydrogen peroxide. You want to dilute it to 1% (2 parts water, 1 part peroxide). Put that in the perlite maybe...cover the jar w/ tinfoil and poke some holes in it. When this peroxide is exposed to light it'll break down to water and oxygen. This might help them pin.
if after all this they still don't pin...maybe take away the light and let them colonize more?

I put them in a terrarium. Two in one with perlite, and one with hydrocorals and an aquarium pump. The myceliu is fully grown and still no pinning. It has been like 5 days since they got a cold shock. One bag is sowing vsome yellow dots which kinda look like little pins, but i am unsure. I will just wait and see how it turns out. They are being exposed to 12 hours of light at least a day.

Yellow looking pins....? What are you growing exactly? Some strains don't exactly pin yellow so that's why i'm asking. I've heard of some that change colors or something to that effect.

Whoa. Back the truck up. The bottle comes from the store with a concentration of 3% peroxide. I'm pretty sure that you want to reduce that to 0.3% by mixing one part with 9 parts of plain water.
To make that clearer, the mixture will contain a total of 10/10 parts. 1/10 is store bought peroxide. 9/10 is plain water. You have divided the original concentration by 10.
Right?
