Im assuming i maid my jars right and that the spore syringes i made are the problem. Anyways i injected my jars 3 days ago and just yesterday i saw barly a spot of the spores germinating. Anyways today i looked and those spots are now turning green. The green spots are only near where the spores where injected. So thats why i think the spore water i used was not clean enough.
Anyways my question is... can i steam these jars again to kill this mold and inject the jars again instead of making new ones? The green shit is barly there, so im assuming i can still save all this work by just killing every living mold in the jar and starting over again with injecting it...
Is this posible?
-------------------- Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against the possession of marijuana and mushrooms in private for personal use.
Technically it's possible to pressure cook and kill the contams but I wouldn't bother. My advice is to get rid of those contaminated jars asap, and start another batch. A future plague of green mold is the last thing you want, so time to start operations over and review your sterile practices.
It sucks but it's happened to all of us
