How the hell do you guys wait?

Im about 5 days after putting my cake into a growing chamber (PMP) and theres lots of pins as well as 3 or 4 very large forming mushrooms that  look very promising.. this will be my 1st harvest ever and my 1st grow ever. Im just pretty pumped, how long about do you guys say it takes for them to get to thier optimal size? and what IS the optimal size, i mean im sure i could wait for them to get huge, but i heard if you pick them a little smaller and earlier its better..

but yeah how the hell do you wait?!?!?! This will be my 1st time trying mushrooms as well. :crazy2:

yeas until the veil breaks. if you want to make sporeprints wait until the cap opens up a little more (flattens out)
