My '92 Honda Accord
    #3347694 - 11/11/04 06:09 PM (12 years, 25 days ago)

My father and I will start working on it tomorrow, ripping off the drive belts and getting down to where the water pump is at. It's only going to cost me about 35 bucks to get it fixed. My father knows a shitload about cars and works on them almost daily. I ordered a Haynes Repair Manual as well for my self so I can too learn a lot about repairing cars.

Does any of you do your own engine work or do you take it into a mechanic shop?
Usually there are shitty as mechanics that don't know shit about cars but they work on them anyway sort of thing. Glad I don't ever have to bring my vehicle to a shop.

Drive safe,
Droz

I've been working on the body of my car for ages. Installed a couple pairs of foglights in the front the outer ones for turning signals since i filled in the corner lenses. I'm going to paint it one day eventually, I don't know when but that day will come. Paint is expensive when you aren't working.

Peace,
Droz

Paint is Expensive. !!! I agree. Are you planning on modding it further.

For right now all the modding is complete. I wanted to create my own vented hood that was a intake also but that would be tons more work then I need right now. So far I molded the kit to the car and filled in a whole shit load of stuff on it.

What color would you paint this car if you owned it?
I'm thinking of going dark green metalic.

I do most of the basic things myself. Although, my car is only a year old so it has'nt really needed any work aside from oil changes.

We have this huge as garaje that is next to our house that my dad works on his motor cycles and such. He is always out there doing something or another. We go through plenty of Go-Jo. Get's that mess of oil off ya hands.

I think when I get older and own a house I'll want a garage just like it. Someplace to keep four wheelers and stuff like that.

Haynes manuals=key. You can fix damn near anything you need, restricted only by tools and facilities.
