I think theoretically that there should be about the same number of people w/ IQ 90 as w/ IQ 110. But, I don't think I've ever met anybody who admitted to having an IQ of under 110.
Also, I'm not sure how well calibrated the tests can be if the only people who take them are interested in how smart they are.

Hah, thats funny. I'm surprised that the average IQ varies so much state to state. Seems that the south is pretty stoopid (mostly below average IQ hahaha).

Probably a hoax, although I wouldn't really argue with those statistics.. the call centre I work at gets all of its volume from the states, and I can damn near pick out where everyone's calling from. Sad.

It is an Average though, so they can have smarter people, just they have less than other states, or their ratio to low iq/high iq is greater.
