I need everyone's help...should I try shrooms?

Hello everyone. I'm currently on Paxil (an SSRI) and Klonapen. I've smoked pot every now and then for awhile now, but I really want to try something different. The stories about tripping have really intrigued me, and I would really like to experience something like that myself.

The problem is....with the medication I'm on....is it ok? I want to do a very small dose.

medication and drugs?  I definately wouldn't reccomend it,but its your funeral my friend.

When you register on the shroomery, it asks you if you are over the age of 13, not 18.

awfultin paxil is a "social anxiety" mediciation. social anxiety is a fancy term for "neurosis". From personal experience there is no negetive interactions between such medication and magic mushrooms. Although the effect of small doses (1/2 gram Ps. Cubensis) is superficial (slight sensation of elevation) i would caution against the use of any psychedelic drug if you are neurotic. High doses of psychedelics can be life chaning both negetively and (preferably) positively. While their is no evidence that I have heard of conclusively proving that psychedelics can be the cause of psychosis, it is known that psychedelics can bring underlying psychotic disorders to the surface. in conclusion, I highly recommend that if you are going to experiment with psychedelic drugs, you do some research. You should either attempt to grow your own mushrooms or preferably buy mushrooms on line from companies such as www.ngeurotrade.com or www.amazing-nature.com. there is no reason to bother with dealers when a high quality product can be bought for a cheaper price through the mail.

go out and find a discipline that will treat your mind and body right (yoga, tai chi, meditation, christian prayer, wiccan magick, sufi dancing---whatever) and learn how your mind/body works...
when you have finished growing (and, one hopes, no longer in need of antidepressant and antianxiety meds) it might be time to consider tripping...

I really didn't expect the hostile responses I recieved from a lot of you. If you don't want minors here, then maybe it would be a good idea to make the sign up box 18 years or older. Ever think of that?

Ahemm, I understood that mushrooms were illegal at ANY age, I agree though that if you want to keep minors off of your page you *should* make that checkbox 18 or older, (as if that would stop anyone who really wanted to access the BB) But it's your site! Maybe I'm misunderstanding the situation, but if your trying to keep minors off the BB for their safety then maybe you should just steer him in the right direction instead of bitching at him (in my opinion if you really need Paxil your mind isn't in a very good place right now, and taking mushrooms now... now *that* would be irresponsible.

And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber. And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself...
