I drink a lot of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale since they have it on tap at my neighborhood bar. And ocassionally I'll drink Black and Tans instead.

At home, if I want to treat myself, I run to the liquor store and buy half a dozen bottles of Aventinus. Absolutely one of my favorites!

I like it too, except the fact that it gives me the RUNS the next morning, to much liquid bread!

>I have NEVER puked or OD'ed on alcohol with beer..
-Don't forget about the incident with the single bottle of Purple Haze.

>and 211 is a good one to push those limits, it will let you(me) know when enough is enough.
-Beer fills you up, and so it's hard to get very trashed on the stuff. If you want to learn you limits, do hard liqours. You're not exploring the boundaries of alcohol if you are drinking it with 10 times as much water.

This post inspired me. I drank 2 24oz cans of the 8.1% so far, and have 2 more ready

Been like 4 years since I last drank it. I think I'm back lol.

That's not the spirit lol. I think it's a lot better than most other can beer. And for only 1.25 a piece! That's 48oz@8.1% for the same price as 40oz@5.2%
Never will replace my Heineken or Labatt though.
