My girlfriend is against drugs...

She knows i used to be a regular pot smoker and she knows i was growing mushrooms before, but she doesnt know i am growing them now, i wonder if there is a good way to loosen her up about it so she is more accepting. Shes the love of my life and if i had to choose between mushroooms and pot and her i would naturally pick her because shes all i really need, but why cant i have both? Have any of you faced this kind of issue before?

Yes, my ex boyfriend hated me smoking weed - it never worked out.

Compromise? Educate her? Slip some acid into her tea? I dunno.

Ive dated plenty of girls that smoked, it was cool, but ive never felt the same way or connected the same way with any of them the way i did with this girl. If she was just a girlfriend and not someone i would actually consider marrying down the road i would have ditched her long ago... but she makes me feel so good and alive and shes EXTREAMILY trustworthy, ive never met a more loyal or trustable person in my life.

Ive tried lighthearted reasoning with her in the past and she get emotional. I think will try some more with printed out fact sheets this time to back me up, shes very mathamatical when it comes to some things if i say i heard of a study that proves that weed doesnt kill your brain cells as much as the tv says she wants to see it in print. So maybe ill just have to keep applying gentle pressure. I dont want her to change herself and become a smoker or shroomer like me it would be cool, but if i can just get her ot accept the fact that its something i enjoy as a hobby thatd be tight with me. I guess she just has high expectations... she is also from a very conservative (morally) family. We didnt have sex until something like 6 months or 7 months of Dating... ive banged other girls ive dated after the 1st or 2nd date.

Thanks for your reply, im going to definatly show her some research. The funny part is shes actually tried mushrooms a looooong time ago whenshe was like 18. Her cousin left them in her room and she tried it out.. he was pissed at her but she said it felt so good, maybe i can build off of that.

Hell yeah we do, ive never been so into someone ever like this before. She actually makes me laugh my ass off and is intelligent. Ive enver had a beautiful, smart and funny girl before, all my exes were good looking but stupid as hell and bitchy.

I think i already explained that if i had ot choose between her and drugs, id pick her. And my exprience with "party" girls hasnt been that great.
