Jiffy Mix recalled...

Went to Wal-Mart today in search of more Jiffy Mix. Unfortunately the cashier said they had recalled ALL of it. According to her they were "false advertising" saying some ingredients were missing , in the wrong proportion ,...or something. Guess it's back to the mixing bowl.

well that sucks, I haven't been able to find vermiculite anywhere around here but I found jiffy-mix on sale for like $1 a bag a while back and stocked up on it for casing... I'm using poly-fil with my next cakes and just making the cakes with finch seed... then casing with jiffy-mix. I'll be glad once all this shit stops getting recalled. The verm was recalled a while back because of abestos contamination or something... might be the same reason the jiffy-mix got recalled
