Please understand fucknuckle, my opinions are just that, opinions.  I do beleive members in the pub have a much more cordial way of discussing issues, and that this issue has by no means gotten out of hand or particularly heated.  I am most concerned for the well-being of the many, the members of this board.

Whoah.... I never tried to moderate/tell other members what to say/demand anything.  Geo said this was not a shroomery collection, that this was a personal collection.  I don't think it has anything to do with being a moderator.

A bastion of free speech (the shroomery) can have a division devoted to legal help and fund raising for those who get fucked over by stupid laws and keep them completely separate.

Shit there could be differant websites too.

No one is forcing anything. The Shroomery is an open community to any and all who wish to participate, we are not forcing you to be here and you are free to leave at any time if you believe the interests of the community or the direction it is taking conflicts with your own interest. You are free NOT to donate anything to us, in which case your level of annonymity will remain the same as it currently is. I fail to see the rationale behind your argument and hope that this thread can stay on topic from here on out.

In all my time I've been here, I've never seen Shroomism utter a single malicious word towards anyone here.  I've always known him to be extremely polite and civil.  Does he have some wierd or naive ideas?  Absolutely.  Does he ever use his mod powers unfairly?  I can think of a couple times.  Is he certifiably insane?  I wouldn't discount the possibility.  But rude and immature?  Definitely not.  I can't say the same for you, however.

I've known of Shroomism and his actions here for over two years.  That is what I base my OPINION on.  You see three posts from me, and form an instant opinion.  Think about it.

im going to post this here too, since im an arresst veteran :kott: :

shroomism is going to goto jail and wait for trial...his bond will be set for $1,000 or more , which normally could be bought for 10% from a bail bondsman....HOWEVER, bail bondsman do not accept out of state clients, EVER.... sooooo everyone is just going to have to wait until he gets his sentence, then if its a fine or something, maybe contribute money.... the out of state thing will work against him again though, no judege will give him the standard drug classes or comm service. he will most likely get a hefty fine, but even likelier do a few weeks in the can.

You are correct. We do this to minimize the possibility of fraud. Just make sure you have the address on your PayPal account that corresponds with your Credit Card's billing address. You can call your credit card company to have this updated immediately. Then when you place your donation, you may choose not to display your address by selecting "No Shipping Address Required" on the checkout style form.

I am leaving my desk for the next few hours but will return around 7pm Pacific time, at which point hopefully I will have more imformation to present to you with respect to the details. PM's have been dispatched to those directly involved.
