we are seeds

sometimes i like to think about things found in nature and compare us, i.e., human beings, to them in some way.  it's just neat to find so many similarities between the way an item created and affected soley by nature behaves and the way we, socially-constructed creatures behave.

last night, tho, after doing a bit of this:

i went to bed and got to thinking about seeds. 

when a seed is either planted, or somehow finds a suitable place to plant itself in the ground, the first thing it does is send out roots to get itself anchored.

have you ever moved to a new place before?  and stayed there for a while?

you see how we are seeds?

As the seeds mature (develop technology), they blow off the host plant (earth) through the air (space) to germinate another location (a new planet).

It's really no different in nautre, besides us being "more complex" relative to our own perception.

The thought that we are seeds also gives me a renewed confidence in the world.
Look at it like this, the world around us now is like a fruit, fallen from the great tree of life, and now it seems to be decaying, rotting. Even when everything seems to be falling to pieces and breaking down into death and destruction, we must realise that it is but part of the process. We, the seeds, are still waiting inside its rotting core, waiting for that day when we will sprout and blossom into a beautiful flower of life which will give birth to a new tree of life which will bring forth new fruits of life, which will fall to ever expand the cycle..

huh.. waddaya mean, i'm a hippie ? :P

Thats what getting grounded is all about.
groudning into 1D (rooting) and stirring 2D you get Kingdom in 3D (sprouting)
