Do you have any nervous habits?

I'm not totally sure why, but I pull single hairs out of my mane on a daily basis. I think I need to mellow out? Does anyone else have any nervous habits and perhaps ways to stop them? Thanks!

I have this minor cough/grunt thing that never seems to go away, and I tap alot. Best you can do is try to be aware of whenever you do it, and consciously choose to stop.

I grunt, stretch my nose, chew my nails, and skin around my nails. everthing.
I need my drugs back, my wife just called and said she had just gotten a 4 oz bottle of tussenex. I love this shit, but I get drug test. Since I am on suboxone I would have to not use my medcine for a fiew days before I could fell it. It just seems that hydrocodon in tussenex is so much better than the hydrocodon in lortabs.
Has something to do with the antihistimine....

Me too man. I do the exact same things.

I've known many many tweakers that do that!
The only real bad habit I ever had I don't have anymore. I used to bite my nails real bad. I bit them until they bled. It was gross and my hands used to look so ugly. I stopped biting them 2 months ago...now my nails are long and my hands look nice! I don't have any other habits that I'm aware of.

Not so much concious or noticable, but I get a tight prickling sensation in my chest when I get hit with anxiety. I suppose I make a bit of a "blehhh" kind of expression too, I can't hold it it and I don't notice when I do it.
Couldn't ever bite my nails, hurts my teeth. I've got really healthy nails lol. But I used to somethings pick at the skin around my nails with my teeth. Who doesn't love that raw feeling of accidentally ripping too much skin off their digits.

When I get nervous I bite the insides of my cheeks. I never used to do this but somehow I picked it up from my ex and haven't been able to shake it even after a year and a half.

everyone has SOMETHING they do when they get tight... mostly face expresstions which you don't notice (which often leads to headaches if you hold these expresstions and tightness for a long time)
the trick is indeed to be aware of what's going on with your body and mind!

I bite the inside of my cheeks too! Not necessarily always when I'm nervous. For example I may have simply chomped down by accident on my cheek the previous day, only to have this scab type deal developing in there so I try to clean off all the dead skin by continuing to bite.. and if I'm not careful I end up enlarging the affected region three fold
When my hair gets past a certain length, I also tend to fuck with it a lot by throwing it back over the top of my scalp else my bangs begin to rest on my forehead - or if I get really lazy and let it grow for a long time, it'll even begin to hit my eyes and that always pisses me off so by that time I usually drag myself to get my hair cut. I could use gel or hair spray but that shit sucks.. haven't touched the stuff in years
