its the keyboard, no expansion, just 16voices, but maybe later on down the line i might put 32 voice expansion on it. ok well some people might disagree but these are all the keyboards i have tried out and so far the waldorf scratches all of them out:
-korg ms2000
-korg triton
-roland analog synths ( needs more control )
-oberheim
-nord lead 3- this was pretty close to the waldorf
-novation - didnt like at all, too many interfaces
-cubase synths ( pretty damn good as far as control )
the closet keyboard that came close to the sound and control was the andromeda. actually the andromeda has so many programmable lfos, vocs, osc, and so much more, i would have bought this one if i could of afforded it.

Aaahhh... someone with taste. I'm listening to Squarepusher right now :D
I play the bass and drums but I'm thinking of picking up and old Prophet 600 or Juno 106 on Ebay - i'd hook up with you but I'm in the UK

ah or dh? hmmm, i dont know what that means, im not really that familiar with alot of terminology. but if this helps you out im gonna say it flat out...go with what you like, dont worry about the money, raise enough money and get what you need. the extra wait is well worth it. i love music, its in the tires of my car, its in the bed springs, in the scrathing of sandpaper, in the LFO of a -5 octave violin pluck delayed out into insanity, its quite nonsense but im the guy who turns the nonsense into patterns. well listen, enough of me rambling, if you want the rack go for it! only one life, this moment that you are sitting looking at these words have passed. time to get up and hit some notes. what do ya say?
squarepusher...i wish i had his skills, the guy only has but standard drum machines and a computer program. no fancy stuff. i heard UK is pretty big on the new anti-pop. the states is all rave when concerning electronical. im suprised nobody kows about squarepusher, aphex, snapper, or any of warp artists. good luck with your music, i am barely on shroomery anymore. once again, good luck, its all but a inside dream.
