Where to find hydrated lime???

sup everyone...can someone tell me where they found hydrated lime for their casings??? I've got the oyster shell but I'm having problems finding the limet...thanks for the help

aba Z, you can find hydrated lime at the grocery store in the 'canning section', it is called pickling lime..... 100% hydrated lime.

Be careful!! I've read that hydrated lime with a high content of magnesium Mg will inhibit the growth of mycelium!!!!!!!! I noticed the new stuff at Franks nursery has a much higher content of Mg. I know that oyster shell work. For anyone who may know: what is the difference in hydrated lime and crushed oyster? Why does Ryche Hawks tek in the 50/50 call for both oyster shell and hydrated lime are they not both Calcium Carbonate? I know that Calcium carbonate in oyster shell contains lead. Has anyone ever heard of calcium glutomate? You can buy this shit at GNC. I know it does not have any impurities!
