ahh.. i finally got the internet again

Oh yeah... the cable guy just came over and hooked me up with the internet and 27 basic channels of TV (not that I watch a lot of TV, but its like 3 extra bucks a month).

So now I can continue lurking on the shroomery and posting whenever I feel like it. Score! :thumbup:

No one really has to say anything. I'm just posting this so I'll know that I've officially made a semi-triumphant return to the Shroomery and all of the internet.

..and now I shall waste away my day on random websites, lurking about on forums and downloading torrents. Ohh..and soulseek.. I have to get soulseek again!

That's really cheap. In my area, that would cost you about 80-90 bucks a month.

it's great to be back.. not that I was ever here.. *shifty eyes*
and toilet, i didnt mean $3 for both, but the basic cable was like 3 dollars more than just the cable connection.. I got in on a special where I get the first 4 months of my internet for half price ($19.95). It's hard to explain, but really the cable is costing me around $13 a month, but without getting that, the internet would have ran me $29.95 a month so it's really only a couple extra bucks no matter how you look at it. I'm not sure why cox charges more for the internet if you don't have their TV service, but meh.

I just love the internet.
I wasted my whole morning chatting around with the trip-hop kids in soulseek! Then I realized 4 hours or so had gone by and quickly ran away from the horrid time-sucking machine, which I am currently entranced by once more.

Ahh..the glorious time-stealing, life-wasting internet.. how did I live without it?
