The room is "Shroomery", not "The Shroomery".

If you want that album, BTW, you just enter "kanye west college". I find that entering the least amount of words possible increases your chances of finding the files.

*Soul Seek tip* Refresh it every few minutes or so by removing the last letter, adding it again and then pressing search. The only thing that would make Soul Seek any better is a "refresh" button so that you don't have to do that.

in the soulseek version I have you have a 'stop search' button. hit it and hit the 'search' button again. even easier that removing a letter. It came with a new version of soulseek I think.

errors are pretty much caused by a user not having their proper ports forwarded. Users might also have limited tcp connections due to SP2 (you need to tweak this anti-p2p measure of MS if you have upgraded to SP2).

well, I think that link is okay - it is not a direct link to the cia site - it's a redirection. see, the cia servers would show you coming from www.cokedealer.com not the shroomery. only cokedealer come servers would know that you're coming from the shroomery - and something tells me the owners of that shit dont care/dont even check.

I like room searches because I tend to find exactly what I am looking for. general search kinda sucks. with roomsearches, you can talk to the person and get good recommendations (if they respond of course). I am on user-list only so I never really use the general search unless I am desperate. I usually talk to the people - I know they are not RIAA.



I have privileges so I rarely have to wait in line...

I pretty much listen to IDM - and the IDM room on soulseek has everything I want pretty much. roomsearches are a good method if you are quite genre-specific...

i usually keep mine running all day - i'm just confused at how i only allowed my list to be viewed by people on my user list - however strangers are still able to download from me?!

is that because they get my songs from searches? that's the only thing i can think of. i dunno.

anyways - just message me and i'll add u to my list. i have a really weird collection: The Thermals, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, lots of emo, girlie stuff (oh ya - you'll find Hillary Duff's song in there)... ya know whatever.

I'm really looking for some Silver Mount Zion stuff and if anyone has heard of Bella Crest - I really wanna get some of that too. They played w/ Mogwai in Montreal this summer and I can't find them anywhere!!!
