Some kids are already starting to take it all for granted.
I have cousins who have never not known the Internet.
And yeah, it definitely is a beast. Still not sure where it's going to take us all.

I grew up in a small country town, and was the first 11 year old to purchase my own computer with internet account. I worked for 2 years at a Petro-Canada to save up, then got my first CDR...

Lets see, I first started using it when I was in 4th grade, when our school got it. That was back in 1995, so I'd say 10 years so far. I remember there was very little on it, except lots of porn that kids used to look up in the school library.

When Warcraft 2 first came out, you couldn't play it on the internet - only dialup and LAN games. A couple years later the Kali gaming system came out that let you play just about ANY game that would work on LANs over the net, but it cost money to use. A few years after that Warcraft 2: Battle.net edition came out, and finally you could play that game online.

I was playing Warcraft 2 against a friend when Chernobyl hit.
