Mycobag Probs
    #3045393 - 08/24/04 07:37 PM (12 years, 3 months ago)

My kittens are having probs with getting mycobags to geminate kitty has been sucessfull in the past bust the current bag 100 percent germinated sitting in mid seventied havent show a single pin yet. The lights are automated and unlike b4 kitten isnt humidifying the teranium now and my guess the the current bag is drying out? Theres myco piss in the bottom and it does have a rubber like texture on top and the sides. Bag's been 100 colonized for probly close to 2 weeks.
usualy get something after a week.

What does kitten do?

1. Humidify the teranium and cut bag open on top to equalized himidity

2. Keep bag at current temp/light cycles and wait for them?

Kitten was getting contams after innoculating b4 but most likely old spores. Any eyedea?

how did your kitten get your credit card number? this has been a big concern of mine every since the UPS guy dropped off 300 cases of milk bones...

your germinating issues seem to be solved. mycobags if left un-opened really dont need a terrarium, just a nice 72degree space.

1)you could open the bag!

2)you could take it out of the terrarium and follow the dirrections.

peace
