Too much rain???

Me and a friend went out last night to some pastures near Orlando along "Christmas road".....but walking through the field was like walking through a swamp half the time, and we didnt see a single mushroom of any kind. I am thinking we might just need to find some fields that are more on hilly terrain. Its been raining almost every day lately, but I cant imagine it being too much rain for shrooms?

You can have too much rain i.e. exactly what we've been getting in Florida over the past couple weeks. A month ago my spots were exploding...went yesterday and found 5. I usually pick around 100. It did seem too wet and from experience I can say that sometimes too much rain can impede mushroom growth. Give them about a week or so after this rain stops and they'll be back in full swing. lata
