This is the right time of year for finding Shrooms in Florida for sure. Some areas of Florida are doing better than others. Typically if it rains every day for a week during this summer rainy season than the shrooms will be out.
Honestly it takes some practice and experience before you can site a pasture and have a good feeling where and when you can find shrooms there.
You cannot just hop into any old pasture and expect to find shrooms.
It is an art form that is learned from a lot of trial and error. You must be in tune with the weather and be in tune with the shrooms to really be successful at it.
I can personally drive by a pasture and know without even going in it if it is good for shrooms or not. Or at least have a pretty good idea if the pasture is good or not for shrooms.
It takes some practice.
Also, I would not recommend trespassing for finding shrooms. It is too risky for me to do anymore. And I highly advise against trespassing all together. I have trespassed hundreds of times to pick shrooms, but I no longer will do it anymore because it is too dangerous and the shrooms are not worth getting in any trouble over. That is just me tho.
So have fun just be safe.

can you tell me what to look for. today i looked near the shady 'damp' areas, usually around the trees where the cows chill. are there any other hotspots to look for?

GGreatone234 just explained it to you.
You are looking in the right areas, but as he said, you are not going to jump into a pasture and expect to find tons of cubies....most of the time you won't find shit (no pun intended).
keep on looking in shady areas after rain.....once you find some, note to yourself the weather that day and the days prior, your surroundings etc etc.....that way you will start to get an idea of when and where to look.
good post ggreatone.

Sarasota should be popping here pretty soon. I found a spot that seems perfect has a spot of trees where the cows migrate during the rain. Tall grass around the trees - and the rest of the field is well grazed. At night it has an eays parking spot and its almost impossible to be seen. I'll lyk what happens.

Well it rained today pretty decently so the fields may have some. But where are some fields in the Orlando area because seriously I can't find any fields. Maybe it is because I am in the more urban area.
