my experiement with you shroomerites (power of us)

you are all so lovely.  I have missed this place, since I've been working two jobs now.  it's been kinda tough, but I must say the end result will be well worth the work put in.

This next year up until june 2005 I will be working my butt off just so I can travel around the United States, Canada, even australia and europe.  I'm trying to find a place to live, as I need to move out of california. 

I feel the need to get moving, I dunno what it is, but I feel it deep within myself. 

Am I crazy to not want to just live in one place?  do any opf you ever get this feeling? 

anyway, I'm definately going to try to hit the majority of the 48 states, canada, australia and europe and I hope to see many shromerites on the way!

see, here's what I want to do.  I want to go around many countries and experience all the different cultures and society patterns. I want to experience the many different and ONEderful (hehe :wink:) personalities that I know each individual has within them.  I want to wonder around and just talk to different people (especially of the S&P nature :wink:)  I've been doing thyis for over a month now around where I live and actually have over 20 people that contact me from time to time to discuss.  sure many people look at me like I'm weird, but I could care less. 

the society I live around, and I'm sure many of you can vouch for me on this, has become jaded, suspicious, paranoid, and seperate. 

I lurked on this board for 2 years before ever signing up an account.  I was in pure awe of this place, and while there is some drama, for the most part, I have yet to feel a "community" on any other site on the net (or in my surroundings for that matter).

I have grown fond of many of you, and quite frankly, can't imagine my being without you.  It is my hopes to meet many of you in person, and to talk with you, either at gatherings or individually.  It makes no difference to me. 

with this, I want to make a book and each chapter will be a shroomerites name.  I will not be the sole author, for we will be the author, we will be the listener, we will be the teacher, we will be the student, we will be life, it will be we who will act as creator. 

It is my hopes that many of you will join me, and maybe we can carve our own nitch in this vast world.  :sun:

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

great idea, i really respect that.  wish i knew you better, you sound very interesting (more important very open minded)!  too bad there are so many uptight greeding fucks around, it really brings comunities/cities/states/countries etc down. 

if ya hittin up Vancouver island shoot me a line.  be happy to show you the culture here and get some hiking in as it really is the essence of the area.

A shroomery book on us. Sounds fun. I would love to be able to get a better understanding of who alot of people on this site are.

Also, I too wish to meet many of you soon. It seems like it would be a very good time.

Almost like the Shroomery bus idea from many years ago, that idea was to collectively buy a bus or wait till someone won the lottery and then drive it to every city that a shroomerite lived in, spend 2yrs doing this.

I love the idea of the book, of course when you come up here theres about 8 shroomerites in my city so it will be a mandatory 1 week stay here  :heart:

I've had an idea like that too. When I get out of college, I wanna go on a road trip across the country meeting as many Shroomerites as I can. Might even fly to a couple places too.

there's really no doubt that I ahve in my mind about this.  I could go to amsterdam for 400 bucks for a roundtrip ticket, pretty cheap if you ask me.  I'm so desperately wanting to move around, and this will provide me with the opportunity to do some other things (such as the book) while I'm travelling.

lots of people have told me to travel and experience the world, and I feel that is one of the best pieces of advice I have gotten (as long as I keep smart about it).



I definately want to hit up the major canadian cities as there are many cool candian shroomerites to visit as well :wink: Not to mention to try to make travel plans to coincide with the next summer shroomery gathering in ohio
