Wassup if you see this. Came here because I’m into mushrooms I believe they’re pretty cool. It gives me a good time as sobriety who just likes to relax. The last pack of shrooms I had tho was really weak and I was curious to find out why that was the case and how can I tell if the shrooms I’m consuming is gonna be weak. If somebody can let me know that’ll be great

They make mushroom potency test kits that can check the strength, but in general you can't tell just by looking at a bag of dried shrooms, unless they're clearly a specific strain.

Like cannabis there are strains and potency varies with things like penis envy strains being 2x as strong as regular cubenis like golden teacher. So hard to know unless you grow them which you can learn to do here on the shroomery.


Also worth noting that pyschedelics build rapid tolerance that lasts for 7-14 days. If you took shrooms and then take them again too soon they will not work the same.
