So I finished "The Children of Time" series last night. Hoping for another in the future.

Up next is either three body problem, or a weird one called Blindsight which is about a Vampire captain of a human crew traveling to meet aliens. It's supposed to have a unique way of describing life that isn't just "humanoid with funny things on its face"

Three Body Problem is a good read! I saw the first season, then read the 3 books. Definitely unique, perhaps slightly bad at characters.

Some authors have absolutely no buisness writing women and Liu Cixin is undoubtedly one of them. Haven’t seen the adaptation.

Don't even know why it's such a massive skill issue for some writers.  Write 'em like ya would anyone else.  I'm a fucking moron who graduated high school with a whopping 1.25GPA and I can manage it.  What's THEIR excuse?

Hey everyone I am checking in; I have been going through some bumps as iI get my life back on track but I'm here and this morning I looked at my cakes and the okra is showing, but barely. It's been about a week since I inoculated them.

I have a quart jar of Hillbilly Pumpkin that looks bacterial at the bottom, so top fruiting it. It might make some fruits before Halloween.

I made some ghost and pumpkin gummies though.

Confession time.

Well I confess I didn't know it was my guy Kloakk's shroomiversary today and I felt kinda bad about that. This dude. This fucking dude. Not just the the noob of the year but lets be fucking honest here guys, hes the TC of the year.  I love this dude. There is something oddly comforting about listening to his flawless mechanical english over the phone. I don't know if I have ever felt so much presence in another human being from so far away. What is the opposite of lonely? Connectedness? Thats a dumb word. We should do better. Anyway thats the way I feel when I talk to this guy. even when he starts to get a pretty good buzz going, he articulates himself in a way that just makes you feel understood. I can honestly say, in all my life I have never met another like him and I thank the universe that I was able to make the acquaintance.

Thank you for everything bud.

Happy shroomiversary, homegrown!

Also, my brain keeps turning "hillbilly pumpkin" into "humpkin."  Make of that what you will.
