Quit socializing with people so much, that'll take care of some of it.

I do but that gets pretty lonely

After you're alone for a lot of time you end up hating being alone and its a relief when you see you'll never be alone again.  :feelsoldman:

Who wants to actually be lonely?

No one wants to be lonely but depression and isolation left for a long time unchecked can lead to a specific type of comfort.

I'd say I've developed a great mechanism for dealing with the public, no matter what they do or say to me I see as impossibly insignificant unless they're cool.

So people that I run into that suck I just humor them, generally agree with whatever bullshit they're spewing and move on as if they never existed. Same thing if I get scammed or cut off in traffic or something similar.

I just go into it realizing alot of people suck, I expect them to suck and so I never get disappointed, just pleasantly suprised.

I let very few people into my life and they have to earn it. But boy once they earn it they have my 100% loyalty, support and love and it makes life SO MUCH better.

This next year we will be 25 years of being best friends with my best friend/brother. There's no difference he IS my brother full stop. He's earned that. And to have such a great friendship for so long has been the blessing I got to be able to endure life.

Nope, I don't. Most people however, suck big time and choose to be retarded.

Nobody sucks if we let go of our ridiculous expectations.

Our expectations are not based in reality. They are fantasy.

It's our expectations that cause us emotional distress.

True, I do not have expectations of people, except that they be kind, not racist, etc.

Ahh so people that intentionally brake check you to get into a fender bender so they can pay off some crooked doctor to say they suffered a major injury at 2mph don't suck? And me expecting people to not do that is about my ridiculous expectations? No. Some people really do just suck. Hence why I said i lower my expectations to the reality that a good amount of people suck, therefore im not shocked by it.

Fraud has always been an aspect of human existence, so it should not surprise us.

When you see fraud you should say, "Yep - happens every day thru the ages"
