OPT: I'm on a new diet plan (it's not really a diet, I'm just planning my meals more) and I'm on the road to losing 5kg after putting on the same amount in a year.

Only downside is it's costing a little coz I'm buying pre-made meals (I don't mind that it's not fresh. Tbh I wasn't eating too fresh even before this anyway).

Realised I am very deficient in my protein intake.

#1 tip I have is don't drink calories, I use stevia glycerete in my coffee/tea

I also.drink this instead of juice, but I'm not sure if someone not doing keto should drink it because it has a lot of salt, I just make the watermelon one, I havmt made the others, watermelon is one of the lowest pesticide fruits, I also make it in 2L batches, I increase the fruit and stevia to taste but leave the salts the same

One time I forgot to add the stevia and it tasted flat, like drinking diluted lime juice, it really needs the sweetener to tatse like a fruit juice

i drink ultra filtered milk for protein it's got 50% more protein and half the sugar of regular milk but somehow tastes sweeter and just better taste in general and is lactose-free. regular milk can upset my ibs but i recommend ultra-filtered milk or kefir for probiotics as good ways to drink calories that are low in sugar and high in protein especially if you have sensitive stomach or ibs like i do.

Beans.  Beans kick ass for protien.  My personal favourites are lentils and garbanzos.  Lentils can be done up like taco meat when decently drained, seasoned, and blasted in the wave for a minute or so.

Course, I'm primarily vegetarian, nowadays, so I may be a bit biased w/r/t my protien sources.  Oh, also potatoes.  Skin-on, washed.  Get em from the local farmers market, if ya can.  Prolly one of the most nutritionally complete and versatile vegetables on the planet.

OPT: I’m freebasing pork tacos for breakfast. I’ll likely exceed my daily protein goal before lunch
