We have forums that don't get posted in for shit. Then there's OTD that is supposedly driving people away. Just don't deal with it like you don't deal with that "Last forum on the left" or whatever


Gennie wants to be accepted by OTD and the rest of the site.

When gennie is not accepted immediately and without condition they take it personally and attack. Look at gennie's journal and the people who are ignoring me thread if you want to see the level of unhinged obsession they have with anyone who does not accept them.

Gennie strolled into the shroomery 3 years ago and started posting as if they had been here for a while, seemingly aware of long standing conventions and inside jokes from the getgo. They gave some good people the ick from the start. Prior to being a mod. I left them a less than 5 star rating and within minutes received :pm: asking for explanation.  Averaging almost 30 posts a day, they have dominated the active foras with mass poasting and attempts to splinter things like the funny thread.

In those three years they spent more than 11% of those posts trying to fit into OTD, to become a bubba of paw and everyone else. But OTD doesn't work like that, no one every really gets accepted in OTD, enlil still calls me stupid and tells me to fuck off on the regular. You'll never be truely accepted till you do the dieds and are canonized.

Unable to accept this they have trolled and teased mush cult into warring with OTD and taken advantage of some of their emotional members as tools in this vendetta. In a word gennie is disruptive to this site.

Self-banning for mental health is not the sign of weakness you think it is, social media including the shroomery is addictive, admitting you need a time out is a sign of strength, like standing up at an AAA meeting and admitting you are an addict.

Ban lotto oth tickles the intermittent reinforcement endorphins as a form of gambling. Its like riding a motorcycle knowing you could crash and get hurt, it is like flying close to the sun and making it back unscathed, it is for glory of being immortalized on the list of winners!

His whole journal is pretty disturbing. At the end of his bio he makes this statement and I think this is truly the root of all of the friction.
