I love the jump to the top button. We just need the opposite something at the top that you can push to immediately go to the bottom.

Lol, I guess I should have anticipated that consequence of enabling longer posts. On desktop you can just press Ctrl+End but yeah it's pretty painful on mobile. I think a comprehensive fix would provide an easy way to jump back and forward by a single post, kind of like the floating nav bars that are used in some mobile apps. But I'm not sure the best way to integrate that into our mobile site. I'll think about it though. Could definitely be useful.

Turns out this was pretty easy with AI assistance. The feature is live, and can be enabled in your display preferences by enabling the option to "Show thread navigation toolbar on mobile?"

I had to make a couple minor tweaks to your custom stylesheet so it would work: if you override the display property of the mobileonly class then the navbar doesn't stay pinned in position anymore, and if you don't allow the page list to wrap then the toolbar can end up pushed offscreen. It's really only officially supported on the default skin, but it should be functional on the other skins too.

Oh yeah, that's the stuff. Works just fine on my custom CSS. Which means it should work on all of them.

At first there was just a bar on the right side which I really liked but now there's something at the bottom covering up some of the page that would allow me to jump around comment by comment. I don't feel like I need that the bar on the right side was more than enough.

Not sure what you mean about it appearing on the right side, it sounds like it might have been a glitch? Maybe you could illustrate what you're talking about. It's meant to be in the center bottom of the page:



But I changed the behavior so that the navigation bar only appears when you scroll, and then fades out after a second so it doesn't get it in way of what you're trying to read.

Maybe it was a glitch but I didn't see the thing in the box when I first used this. I only saw the thing to the right with an arrow pointing at it which I liked a lot. I'm not sure if I like the thing on the bottom.

I love the scroll bar I don't like the comment arrow selector at the bottom that I put in the red box.

The scroll bar is perfect.

I could get used to it. It's not impacting me very much but I prefer not having anything covering the center..

Oh, lol, well I hate to break it to you but the scrollbar on the right of the screen is built-in browser functionality. It's always been there, is it possible you just never noticed? The only thing I added is the navigation bar on the bottom and if you don't like that you can probably just turn it off.
