ID request: Mystery mulch mushroom.
    #29638494 -

I wish there were better ai mushroom identifiers, alas I need some help for this one.

Of note I inoculated these wood chips with winecap, and I've seen the mycelium growing well around the inoculation points and I'd expect some fruiting bodies around now. The stem looks similar but obviously the cap on this one is white. Soo am I looking at some kind of albino or a dastard imposter?

AI is notoriously bad at identifying mushrooms... So am I.

Not sure what you have but don't think it's your winecaps.

i believe it to be Stubble Rosegill Volvopluteus gloiocephalus
it should have a sac like volva(like amanita) and pink-brown spore print.
edible but not recommended due to it resembling amanitas.
this is a mushroom that amanita phalloides is often misidentified as when young.

Try the iNaturalist app or website, it's free and I think it would be able to ID this correctly.    It's Volvopluteus gloiocephalus.
