land for 40k

I like looking at land listings. I like to fantasize about having money and if I did where I would go to bury my head. If anyone is interested here are some ones I found today. These are all the same price. If you had to pick one of these which would you choose?

1) 20 Acres in Washington State. What a nice view. I like mountains. They are pretty.



2) 40 Acres in Minnesota. The view on this one isn?t so nice but it?s twice as big. I bet it?s real cold in the wintertime. I like the way there are meadows broken up by little copses of trees and bushes.



3) 120 Acres in Wyoming. What a big area. It?s sort of weird to me cause here I grew up in the woods of New England. It wouldn?t be the worst place though. It?s not desert like Nevada or Arizona. You could be like a prarie dog. If I lived here I would put my head out of my little hole each morning and look around. Then I would disappear back inside to eat my breakfast.



Just for reference here?s a cool picture I found of the size of 5 acres.

Not all of Nevada and Arizona is desert. Think of Reno or Lake Tahoe in Nevada.

And the area around Williams/Flagstaff in Arizona is gorgeous. In fact, that is where I have been shopping for land. I want a nice piece of property somewhere near Flagstaff. Only about 3 1/2 hours from Vegas, about the same from Pheonix, and 1 hour to the Grand Canyon. And the elevation is around 7000 feet (four season climate and beautiful pine forests).

Oh yeah, and as for your three choices above, I'd probably take the 20 acres in Washington State. It is a beautiful state!!

I do the exact same thing.  I'm always searching for property and land...I mostly try to look for land in Canada (BC) but it seems like it's really expensive there.  Probably because it's so beautiful up there!  :smile:
