I just looked up Aussie Possums, much less terrifying than the creature we call Possum here  (technically Opossum here that is.)

American animals (I presume you are in America or maybe Canada?) seem hectic!

Yep, I'm in the U.S.

This is a possum. Not generally dangerous, can get maybe a bit bigger than a cat, but they are blind as hell and run into things and just look ugly.

The snakes in Austrailia are terrifying, and Dingoes, from what I understand, can be dangerous especially to an injured or small person. Really the worst thing where I live are coyotes, and that's just because they will steal and eat cats or small dogs.

Even Black Bears which only live in remote areas will run away from you as a matter of course. Of course out west (far from me) there are Bobcats and Grizzlies and they will eat a mf.

Will a kangaroo actually box you if you startle them?

Hahahaha your possums are so ugly! Ours are cute as fuck! Haha. (No hate to yours).

Your bears are fucking terrifying haha. I feel like theyre the US version of crocodiles!

Haha yeah roos are really dangerous. We don't get many injuries or deaths from them but if you happen to get into a fight you're done for! I got between one and her Joey that was scary. I was walking off the footpath I didn't see what was happening

Opt: went to a drum n bass night at my local. Good fun. Nice crowd. Holy fuck the number of people on MD or acid (I presume. Lots eating lollipops)

I had a drink that gave me energy.

Dnb is great but yeah my true love is prog psy. I've come to that conclusion.
House is genuinely the gateway drug to better times (and sounds like it haha)

Thank you! I feel impossibly fortunate to get to live and work here. I spent the last 4 years living real lean and rough and I had no clue it would pay off in this way.

Yeah, it did. My work schedule this week isn't too bad. The longest stretch of work I've got is two days in a row. I work two days, followed by a day off, a day of work, a day off... repeat.

OPT: holy shislacks Aldi is so much cheaper. I love the set up and how they play no music. It's a autistic paradise lol.

Also the guy working the front end, bless him he was so nice. I felt like I wasn't probably the most happy person back mainly because I just freak out talking to randoms but I appreciate that he was so nice.

The Aldi I grew up with sucked they didn't have a lot of things like produce for one.

You can't get lost in an aldi it's literally 4 aisles and you're out haha. Hope they keep the service registers (there's a few self check outs).

Nice one Jon.
What's your job involve? I wonder if I should loo into something like that? I imagine it's not super social but there's a bit of interaction with your colleague's?

Bummer Jon. Yeah they're not great for produce. I wish my area has a fruit market. I can't believe the hippiest place on earth doesn't have one. I know whoever opens one will make a lot of money

I'm a dishwasher. Not a very social environment. I'm too focused on work, getting things done on time.
