Now, I ain't tryna freak anyone too much.  But I did just see this weekly H&S lookin' thing pop into my view, and its measured move target lines up with the lower USTL at around ~$35,000. :crazy2:

Sure hope it won't happen, but won't be too terribly surprised if it does. This is crypto, afterall... :tongue2:

Always gotta keep an eye toward max pain downside. :whoa:

Looks like the clairvoyant Nostrabingus with the cyan hood was kinda right. If indeed around 64 there will happen a bit of a relief where do y'all think it could bounce? Here my mushroom hat receives distorted signal for now but 70-73k ain't impossible. Or the bounce could be one or few k's. Any of you technically or heat map and what not gifted people could have any insight?
I'll probably just scalp that shit to a low time frame volume weighted MA until things become clearer

What's still much clearer for me is the fact that there's more to go down now. Opened a position at 67200ish with a stop around 69300 and profit 64900. If it goes to 68-69 I got a few more spare inches for this hoe 👅💢❤️‍🩹
Edit actually pussied out at no loss on this particular one, could push a bit higher before new lows.

So there was a possible exploit found on ZEC that's been there for 4 years which could result in an infinite amount of ZEC been minted but nobody knows if it was exploited because it's private?

Yeah, wild.  Here's the PR: The Orchard Counterfeiting Vulnerability - and next steps

That is crazy news, unprovable but potentially unlimited counterfeit ZEC production prior to the patch.

Reasonably speaking, if someone had found out how to execute the exploit and generate ZEC at no cost, I would have expected them to be dishing it into the market, and given the uncanny relative strength ZEC has tended to portray, that doesn't seem like the probable outcome.

Nevertheless, it's a HUUUUGE unknown, and not something to take lightly.  Meanwhile, ZEC breaking its 50 and about to tag a USTL.

The whole quantum-compute timeline threat being moved up for potentially breaking elliptic curve cryptography is also fairly concerning.  Ugh, perfect storm...

If you're smart enough to find and exploit a vulnerability that nobody found for 4 years, you're smart enough to sell into a market without nuking it. There's way more money in it this way instead of straight up rugging and probably exposing the exploit.

People are talking that in hindsight the sudden coordinated shilling of zec by KOLs is very suspicious. But that's just talk and hindsight

I'd be surprised if someone like Arthur Hayes (one of ZEC's KOLs), who has far more money than any reasonable person might need, would ever have been involved with an outright fraud.  But I do take your point that it is reasonable to think that someone who may have found the exploit, could have metered any selling to reduce suspicions.  ZEC was flatlined for years prior to the recent runup, after all...

That's the guy who buys crypto then tweets he bought and that it will do a 10x then sells after a 20% green candle when all his followers piled in. Every fucking time.
Not saying he would be in on the fraud IF zec was exploited, just saying he's kinda useless to pay attention to.

Don't know if anybody here is in VVV but has similar vulnerability as zec.
Quote:
VVV's verified Base contract has an uncapped owner-only mint() with no supply cap or timelock. Supply has already grown beyond the initial 100M (current totalSupply exceeds it). Single EOA owner retains full control, creating real dilution risk. The permit and minimal-contract points hold. Standard centralization flags apply.

Some say also TAO but I think that is bullshit, Bittensor has a different minting mechanism I believe.

Bittensor (TAO) benefitting handily today, up some 27% as of this writing, from news that the U.S. government ordered Anthropic to suspend access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for foreign nationals, and Anthropic said compliance effectively required disabling those models for all customers. That immediately fed the "you can’t have frontier AI gated behind one vendor / one jurisdiction / one policy mood" trade.

That matters to TAO because Bittensor is one of the most liquid crypto proxies for decentralized AI infrastructure: its docs describe it as an open platform for digital commodities including AI inference/training, built around subnets, miners, validators, and TAO emissions. So when centralized frontier-AI access suddenly gets politically restricted, TAO becomes an obvious narrative vehicle.

There’s also a secondary supply/liquidity story getting amplified: reports today say Bittensor subnet registration costs rose from 230 TAO to 1,500 TAO, with 73% of circulating TAO staked and subnet slots constrained, which traders are treating as "ecosystem demand eating liquid supply."
