any tips for very small batch berry mead?

i found hundreds of wild strawberry plants growing in my field, ai says they will be like pea sized and taste better then grocery store berries

i also have a 500ml or 1l jar of honey in my cupboard, its a semi crystalized raw honey, it only came in 2 packs and i only needed one for the protien bars i made months ago

so i figure i could make a killer mead, the thing is i dont really drink any more, so i want to make a very small batch, just a couple cups for me and a couple to share, also its going to kick me out of ketosis as its honey and alcohol lol

i dont have any equipment, should i buy a air lock? or is  a balloon good enough, how much honey/water should i use to yeild roughly 4-8 cups?

Just to make sure. Are you sure those aren't snake berries?
An air lock even on a juice container is fine remember a gallon of mead is 5 lbs of honey. Make sure to boil the honey first and remove impurities in the honey from the top. Then pour in container and liquid from fruit, make a yeast starter and pour in your cooled container. Then air lock and your done.  If it snake berries do not use,you will get milk sickness.
