I want to see your guys' pets.  Or animals you have a relationship with...I know we all love animals here.  Here's my old girlie, i had to put her to sleep but it was definitely for the best.  She was so smart, i taught her to speak, roll over, lay, stay, shake, all that good stuff.  She could even balance a treat on her nose and snap it out of the air when i said 'go'!  She lived a surprising 15 yrs old too.  Loved my dog...and she had much love to give.



A while back, i was thinking of getting a fish after cruising through walmart. I saw a large group of siamese fighting fish and wash checking them out.  So I waited and thought about it for a while.  When I went back, there was only 1 left!  I'm thinking the rest died off...who would buy about 20 of these fish?  I didn't think they were such a hot seller around here, so they must have died.  Except this one.  He was real lethargic and the tips of his fins looked kind of 'rotted' at the time.  Not sure if they actually were rotting though.



So after a while of having him, I've noticed this little guy has more personality then i ever thought a fish could have!  His little upturned mouth reminds me of a bulldog.  He's got alot of life in him and seems very curious.  lol
I plan on getting him an aquarium and a luxurious setup along with maybe a couple friends of different fish.

Those are River and Louise. They are awesome.

I have lots of fish too, in a 30 gallon aquarium that a friend gave me but no pics of them. :frown:

that's a nice looking kat. : ) does it ever slide around on those floors? lol i had a friend who's cat would always slide across the slick floor out of nowhere!

nice looking dog phisgrrl! LoL i ilke the look he's giving and the way his feet are spread out..:D i like bigger dogs. is that a chocolate lab? it may just be the camera but he seems to have such a 'meaty' nose. cuddly looking felines too.

soild looking husky there!  i've always wondered about that eye color thing.  that's pretty interesting.

that cat has a very peculiar look to it's face.  i can't really place it.. :laugh:

I have a cat named hobbes hes a small orange tabby\Siamese mix, and Sadie a mutt.

also several fish.

no pics though.

also if all those Siamese fighting fish were kept in the same tank they fought and killed each other till there was one left, if his fins look a little ratty thats cuz the other fish nibbled at them.

If they start to look rotten and white on the ends pick up some fin-rot medicine at your local pet store. Fin-rot can kill fish so be careful, especially with fish with long fine fins like the Siamese fighting fish.

these fish were all in seperate small tubs in a small amount of water...what a dull life huh?

here's a pic of him soon after i got him. see the top left part of the fin, it's kind of got this torn but slightly healed look to it. it's growing back nicely since then though, his fins are getting much longer and the color is getting much deeper too. this bowl kind of makes him look too big for the bowl, but it's actually that magnifying effect of the bowl shape. he's also in a different spot now too and that green lei was there so he could hide at the time..

mystique looks like he's got royalty in his breed! if i were to get a cat, i'd have to get one like that...with that deep ash color.


so many of you have cats. i've never had a cat, but if i did i'd like a dog sized cat. kind of a smaller wildcat like a cougar or mountain lion. that would be so cool. i'm seriously thinking about getting a big cat. one that i can wrestle around with and take for walks. i think the secret is you just have to get them while they're still cubs. it would be so awesome..imagine taking a big muscular cat for a walk around town. that's my kind of cat!

I had a husky that looked very similar to yours. She had one brown eye and one blue eye too. She was part german shepard though.

Anyways... here's my kitty Snickers. I have 2 other cats too, but Snick is my favorite, so I'll share him with you:
