BTC trying to bounce a bit today after probing near the bottom of the range.  Similar story on SOL and ZEC.  Those are my bogeys.

That said, we are in the chop zone, and it's best not to overtrade here.  If you have a long term, average-in strategy, by all means.  But don't go gangbusters on a swing, because we could easily chop around and even print newer lows to flush out more weak hands, especially if there is a big flareup in the Middle East as it appears there could be.

Only once an asset is reliably trading above its 8+21+50 day moving averages in chronological order, should your confidence be restored to allow for a more aggressive trading posture.  You'll of course want to see price above the 200 day eventually as well -for full confidence - but you probably won't want to wait that long to get a little more aggressive, because for many assets, it's still markedly over head (e.g. 50% higher than current price on BTC).

People are predicting this cycle is going drop to 40k-50k range.

IDK I'm just going to continue DCA-ing per usual.

Buying SOL here.  High volume push above its 8dEMA, pullback to test and lookin' like it just might wanna bounce.

SOL is back above its 8+21 dEMAs, and pretty tight.  50 day overhead at $100 likely resistance for now, but so far constructive with good upside volume.

TAO has also caught my eye.  Squeezing just under its 50 day with some really tight action.  This thing was also up above $500 late last year, and has some big names backing it (Barry Silbert/Digital Currency Group and Polychain capital), it's also squarely centered on AI, which is obviously a sector en vogue.

Generally speaking, the fact that the Iran war news didn't result in a lower low in most major cryptos, and that we are not printing some higher highs, indicates that the bottom may be in.  That said, we could absolutely swoon on the war getting worse or other unforeseen events that might have us retest the major February lows... but for now, crypto looks actionable to the long side.

TAO is still lookin' like a proper setup ready to explode here... just hasn't hit the pivot point yet.

Because I've been getting lathered up, I've also been trying to educate myself on what this chain does.  Had some deep research completed on AI, and while a lot of it was deep "in da weeds"... it did help me understand what this chain is trying to accomplish, and the real pitfalls with its current structure.  See the attached investor's memo for a distilled version.  If anyone wants the two separate multi-page research reports I put together, hit me with a PM.

TLDR:  TAO is looking ripe technically, but should primarily be used as a trading instrument and not a crypto of conviction.

When the market is shit, you do research... Attached to this post is PDF "deep research" report consolidating 371 searches into an evaluation of SOL, threat assessment from its primary competitors (predominantly ETH & HYPE) and a bear/base/bull case valuation study.

TLDR: SOL still looks like a winner. :headbang:

Nice thanks for the share Geo , will give it a read.

I’ve accumulated a bit more SOL recently, and really am continuing to treat current prices as a buying opportunity.

Trading well outside the bollinger bands, although I wouldn't be surprised to see a test of the 200d incoming.  Very tight supply dynamics (21M max, ~10M circulating, same inflation dynamics as BTC).  Of the ~10M in circulation, over half is staked.

There are subnet tokens that offer some opportunity (at very high risk) as well.  An interesting AI play on blockchain with big potential upside.

HYPE also performing admirably, now above its 200d.

TAO kissed $250 this morning and is pullin' back a bit now.  Attaching a splice of a longer format YouTube video that makes a relevant comparison to Ethereum's ICO phase, and how it drive interest in Ethereum and its primary network token.  Bittensor (TAO) has "subnets" which function at least somewhat similarly to ICO's, in that once any given subnet reaches critical mass, it could focus attention toward TAO as a venue for other, up and coming projects that might grow into huge valuations.  And how can you get involved in those projects?  Well, you need to buy TAO of course.

Given the tight supply dynamics I mentioned above, this could be an explosive situation.  I'd seriously consider it if I were you...

Click here for the full video from which the attached splice was taken

TAO up 60% inside of a week.  If you have a position and haven't already, it's time to start skimming profits as we close in on the 200 day SMA at $286.  As we've been using the upper bollinger band as support for a few days now, this has a LOT of positive momentum and might overshoot into the $300s, but ~$300 was a topping cluster in January and likely to be relevant resistance.  At the very least, set some stops because the 50 day is nearly 50% lower and barely starting to curl up.

While I really like the longer story on this one, it's always prudent to sell into big rips. :takingnotes:

Attached to this post is a memo on the Top 10 Bittensor subnets, ranking these leaders by expected long-term reach and sustainability of their underlying project models.  For emerging issues like these, AI makes the research SO much easier than digging up the information manually.

I'm not jumping into subnets RHRN with my own capital, but I am trying to get a handle on what exactly this ecosystem is attempting to accomplish.  To expand on the "Bittensor Top 10" memo I posted this morning, attached to this post is a brief review of the Top 50 subnets.

I have my agent working on digging deeper into the A-rated subnets in the Top 50 report, to further narrow the cohort with competitive comps, detailed business model, risk factors and cross-ranking for durability versus upside.  Some of the data on the subnets is scant, so this request has been running for 15 minutes already as the agent attempts to ground each of the leader cohort in official product documentation/GitHub codebase/etc in attempts to distinguish real operating models from generic subnet marketing.  Will post when ready.

While the previous two reports provided a birds eye view that will suffice as a proper introduction to the leading Bittensor subnets, the report attached to this post focuses only on the candidates with the highest durability and upside potential, and provides a detailed profile of seven leading subnets with:
  • Relative market cap positioning
  • Produce category
  • Closest non-blockchain comps
  • Sustainability score
  • Future value score
  • Likely realization window

The report attached to this post is the one to read if you want to dive deep into the best TAO subnets as of the present date. :yesnod:

Most interesting here, is that these leading subnets all have present day valuations between $8-$119MM (with the bulk toward the lower end of the range).  The opportunity to invest in functional product organizations at valuations this low is quite rare.  Which isn't to say you should dump all your money on these things.  I haven't bought any (yet).  These are extremely high risk propositions, but if it works, the gains could be astronomical.  What does all that mean?  It means you can invest just a little bit into a basket of these leaders, and it could still pay off handsomely.  And if it doesn't, you only invested a little bit, right?  Seems like a good decision to me...
