Not me.  The mycelium bot would be ruthless.

I bet the worm bot would be super chill.

Hope they make cute robot outfits for robot twin me, or she's going to be miserable.

Confession - I just turned on the AC in my house. It's 80F outside right now, fake spring is in full effect. The blooming flowers are spectacular, but I've been saying since November that we would get a late freeze before winter is through.

I have been directly countering that energy for a month.
It's unreal how early spring hit this year.

Yep. Yall ready for this?  The world is about to start changing in a big way.  Growing pains.

I confess, ive been using ai to create xeric landscape design conversions for my clients.  Water restrictions this year will give most people two options where it concerns their turf-scapes:

A: convert into xeric, native heavy perennial designs
b: scorched earth

There is no third option.  Our municipalities have already prohibited fake turf.

I dont feel bad about using ai for this purpose.  I think ai should be strictly limited to useful purpuses like these where water conservation or environmental benefits are likely the result.

Btw thats an actual clients house i did as a courtesy.  I only do commercial landscaping so the scale is much, much bigger.  Schools, hospitals, metro districts, commercial and industrial parks, hoa communities etc.  i manage a $1.7m portfolio, so i feel like i could make a major impact here.  I feel like im doing important work.  I just hope everyone is ready for this, otherwise, people are going to have to get used to a lot of brown, real quick.

My big issue with them right now as far as the environment is the infrasonics and fossil fuels.  Which could be mitigated if corporations didn't push pollution off on society and civil lawsuits.

In other words, I don't hate the technology.  I hate the lack of accountability in business.  But, that's nothing new

Brown is going to cause issues too.  Erosion.  Top soil depletion from wind.  Flash floods when large rainstorms hit.

Stuff I'm sure you already know, but leaving barren soil isn't good in addition to it being an eye sore.

Glad to hear that CO is looking at their water usage   Things felt a bit to green and manacured last time I visited.

In theory you'd be able to overclock yourself and could do anything you wanted.

We may get to a point where a copied consciousness of a person could set an intention to understand what it's like to be a worm or a fungi, and then experience that for as long as they liked.

So yeah, and probably in ways far stranger than we can currently imagine.

Edit:  Maybe I'll write a sci-fi story.  It's been awhile since I did any long form other than posts on the net

My brother gifted me "This is how you lose the time war" on audio, it's a cyborg time war adversarial romance with excellent short story prose.

You could essentially set up a time safe where in you could have very specific rules about how you can exist inside of it and then after a period of time that you chose before going in it you would have that open again and all of those rules would fall away and you would still be left with the experience that you had in there.

Hey. @nokumana.  If you're around or when you happen to see this if you do. I saw the other day you were asking about where you could purchase pp5 reusable Petri dishes without having to buy a 500 pack.

I had linked two sites to you that sell 20 packs.

However it completely skipped my mind. I actually have maybe 80 to 100 of them that I don't really use anymore.

If you're still trying to get a hold of some. I'd be happy to let you have mine

I just need to clean them out. they are  currently storing my mold/contam collection.
