Jam bands - it took me too long too appreciate them!
    #2948377 -

Sadly I didn't start appreciating jam bands until like...4 days ago. For some reason I'm just REALLY enjoying the Dead, as well as SCI. I need some more bands to listen to! Smatter my tastes with lots of jam bands.

So far all I have to listen to is

Grateful Dead
String Cheese Incident

I tried Particle, but I liked them less than I did the other two. Any more reccomendations? I'm hitting up the mall with a friend soon, if you reply fast enough I can maybe listen to some CDs at the mall.

I really hated jam bands for so long. I met my current girlfriend a year and a half ago in an Italian class and she overheard me talking to someone else and (I had a huge crush on her, so Iw as so happy when this happened) when we left class she came up to me and said "So you hate Phish, huh?" Then in November she took me to my first two Phish shows and now I'm hooked.
The thing is, it's about the live experience...just go, smoke a fatty, and lose yourself in the jams, and that's all that's needed.

The original poster is back =D Sorry, had a good time at the mall and it ate most of my day. Didn't get a chance to check out this thread before the mall though =/

Widespread panic I enjoyed pretty decently. I'm TRYING oh so hard to download some moe, but all that is on the archive is lossless! 1.2 gigs takes a while to download. My roommate has tons of Phish =D I'll have to resort to him for that.

i'll check out jambase =D thanks guys. this is defenitely a bookmark for me
