any limewire geniuses here?

limewire used to work great for me. i always had a turbocharged connection (no, i don't have pro) and rarely had a corrupted file.

a few days ago, 90% of my downloads were coming up as corrupted. so, i went to the limewire forum and found some directions that would supposedly fix the problem. they said to change my messages concerning notification of a corrupt file and to shut down limewire and delete my "incomplete" folder. i did this, but it fixed nothing. now, i get a good/fair to excellent connection, but never a turbocharged connection and only a few of my downloads have made it past 99% complete. some are making it to 100%, then they start over when the program tries to verify the file. maybe 1 out of 15 downloads are successful. i have a cable modem and run xp.

any clue as to what is happening?
