I was involved in an abduction gone wrong today * 1
    #29267871 -

It felt like that bony tendon in the back of my knee was going to snap today doing this and the physio therapist didn't give a fuck and said it was fine

I want an X-ray but the doctor didn't seem to want to give me one last week when I went, she said she would refer me to an ultrasound but I never got a call back from the ultrasound I think the doctor only referred me to physio..

Dosnt it make sense to do X-ray or ultra sound or MRI or something like that before referring someone to physio

And he don't got a phone
And he don't sit around all angry and bored

📝 PHYSIO INCIDENT REPORT

Date: July 3, 2025
Subject: Gopher
Location: Physio Waiting Room + Treatment Area
Event Type: Unlawful Hip Abduction
Severity: Moderate (emotional & physical consequences)
Status: Survived, pending ice pack and validation

---

🚨 Description of Incident:

At approximately [REDACTED] o'clock, the patient was subjected to a Standing Hip Abduction as prescribed by a licensed physiotherapist.

During the act of raising the leg laterally, the posterolateral knee tendon (a.k.a. That Thing in the Knee Pit That Feels Like a Bone™) issued a distress call. Subject reported sensations of pinching, snapping, and possible betrayal by their own body.

Despite expressing concern, the attending physiotherapist advised to "keep going," resulting in further abduction of the hip against the patient's will.

---

🧠 Psychological Impact:

Trust in knees: ✅ shaken

Trust in therapists: 😐 questionable

Mood: 🫠 “Molten popsicle in a sunbeam”

Dignity: temporarily displaced

---

🔧 Outcome:

After session completion, the abducted hip was returned in better-than-expected condition, though emotional trauma persists.

---

🏅 Recommended Action:

Award Purple Ice Pack of Courage

Authorize snack-based recovery

Monitor for further signs of unsolicited exercise

Ultrasound or MRI might find something that may or may not be what's causing the pain, but unless you genuinely tore something (they probably already did manual tests to rule that out) the treatment is just going to be the same either way
