Thanks!
No tertiary education for it. Just had unlimited free time in lockdown during the pandemic to practice. I amassed a small library of technique books studied them & supplemented that with YouTube tutorials. Basically working off that to refine what I could do.
Most of my work was done around that time and shortly thereafter. Unfortunately I haven’t had enough free time do much else as of late.

Have to say I found it gets to a certain point of aiming for perfectionism. Where making the art becomes less enjoyable/therapeutic & more painstaking/stressful.

You have some raw talent my friend. I’ve been painting since I could remember and no amount of YouTube videos could make my art look that good. :princepancakes::princepancakes::princepancakes::ohmyfuck::princepancakes:

I have seen that one in someone on shroomerys sig years ago.... Sally Hatchet or something.

What one particularly do you refer to as salvia esque, rgv?
:edit: or is it the 'hard to pinpoint the change' transformative theme present throughout? And happy shroomiversary to you!

I like to paint a little bit.

Ive got alot to share.

Ill do two at a time.

I've never shared any of this with very many people before so please be  nice. I wouldn't consider myself an amazing artist or anything.  I enjoy it as a hobby.

Photography in reference material belongs to Steve Alford and Miguel A. Ribes Ripoll, displaying Marasmius Haematocephalus and Hygrocybe psittacina respectively left to right.

Also my first honorary post on this platform! Loving it so far, hard not to be impressed at the sheer organisation and welcoming community
I'm new to the hobby but look forward to exploring more of the freaky world of fungi with you all

basic demoscene shit i made in tooll3 with my music. The last one is "poo and glowsticks" I had to record with shareX and it was hugely CPU intensive so sorry about the lags lol

I'd posted and then deleted this painting of Huachuma as a dragon.

I'll repost it and leave it.

The primary image is made from a single unbroken line. It's time consuming to paint, but the effect is lovely.
