RSS feed not working, no pubdate or time format.

Hello shroomery,

I'm attempting to add Mushroom Cult rss feed to my terminal but I keep getting errors telling me invalid pub-date. There actually isn't any date information and it looks like the rss file is incomplete.

Im not sure what I am doing wrong, I've been trying to do this all day!

If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated

Our feed is valid RSS 0.92 but RSS is up to like v2.0 now, maybe more modern readers aren't backwards compatible. Honestly I think you're the first person to ask about this functionality in years. I've added pubDate data to our feed, can you confirm if that fixed things? Otherwise, could you please let me know what feed reader you're using so I can do some testing?

Is there any update on this? I'd like to incorporate a feed into my website but I don't have a working link. Sorry to necro this but it's relevant to me and imo relevant in general. I'd rather build on old knowledge than make a new redundant thread.
Please let me know if this functionality is available. The older version doesn't seem to be working.

Sorry then, I'm really not sure what it could be. The feeds pass the official W3C Feed Validation Service, what reader are you using?

I'm trying to incorporate it into an add-on for SMF. It might just be a cross-compatibility issue. I'm not worried. Thanks for getting back to me on it man, i appreciate you. :awesomenod:

If you want to give it one last try, I made some additional changes to increase compatibility with legacy RSS readers.
