Help! Living in a shithole! * 1

Alright so here's the deal - I live w/ 4 other people in a dupex house. We have a horrible infestation of bugs - why? because the windows and doors are constantly kept open. Because 1 of the roommates insisted on leaving his food out CONSTANTLY.

I freaked one day and cleaned up the WHOLE place and told everyone the "kitchen rules". Simple shit like.. don't leave banana peels on the counter for days, don't leave nuts on the floor, don't leave bowls of rice out on the front porch for days.

After all this - and a few notes - I STILL have to clean up the shit. Now I have the option of leaving and moving in with a co-worker (but that's a sticky situation). I don't wanna move out - plus I know if I move out - the other roommates are gonna be stuck with paying my rent and that's mean.

But honestly - it's really only this 1 guy. HE'S FUCKING WEIRD. He sits in a chair and stares at the wall for hours, he never talks, he doesn't work I dont think, he's so weird. The other roommates agree that he's strange. All he eats is rice, nuts and bananas. THATS ALL!! I swear. And I have to clean up his mess CONSTANTLY. I told him straight up the deal - and all he says is "okay" and still continues to mess shit up.

what else do i do? i spent HOURS trying to clean the kitchen up - and he manages to make it a mess again within 20 min. this isn't fair. i even borrowed a vaccum cleaner from a friend to try and get this place nice.

and now it smells like shit in the livingroom - i don't even wanna KNOW what that's about.

o and the bathroom? 2 clogged sinks - i have to wear my flipflops in the shower w/ me bc it's so nasty.

*cries* i just need to get my own fucking place

The horrors of living in a big city. I had a friend who had a similar problem. His roomate would always walk around in his underwear and socks, even to go check the mail in the lobby. He would never flush the toilet after himself & never washed his hands. And he would sing Bonjovi songs, constantly. He kinda looked like Jack Black in 'Orange County'. So my friend knew that there would be only one way to solve this problem that was affecting him. My friend stripped to his undies and socks, stopped flushing and washing his hands, and started learning Bonjovi songs. Yep, the immoral of the story is, Del if you can't beat or change them, join of become them.  :wink:

I had a roomate once who would sit on the couch all night long and smoke 3-4 packs of cigs all night long...He ended up stealing my nice stereo system so when i found him i kicked his ass properly ...
The Police arrested me for assault and burglary $20,000 bond ...this was in the mid-`70s ...I never had a roomy after that except girlfriends and if/when they started acting wierd i shitcanned them promptly :evil:

Cute. Maybe if you cry about it like a little 12 year old girl then you'll get your way.

The only thing i can think of to help a girl like you in a situation like yours, is give them each head once or twice a day in return for cleaning up.. that just seems like the only option a girl like you has.

Because bitching and whining and being a brat isnt working for you anymore. The guys are just waiting for you to wisen up and give them oral and whatnot in exchange, you could charge them money also along with the cleaning, say, 5bucks a blow, 10 bucks a fuck. Use your imagination.

Del, didn't you just move out of a bad situation a few months ago? This sounds like an "out of the pan and into the fire" type-of-thing. You seem to need better quality control on your moving situation. Perhaps, you will just have to buckle-down, and spend more money. I can't imagine any situation involving four roommates in half-a-house being even remotely desirable... :frown:
