Cats in my outdoor patch
    #2897312 - 07/16/04 02:18 PM (19 years, 7 months ago)

I have one or more animals going to the bathroom in my outdoor patch. I think it is a cat because it buries the turds. What to do? I can't kill it, because I don't want to harm someone's pet.

The bad thing is, once they start and get that scent in there, it becomes a homing becon for future refuse. How do I break the cycle?

Place a few mothballs on the ground a few feet away from the corners of the patch. I know that they discourage lots of wildlife such as deer and racoons from vegetable and flower gardens and they may keep the cats away from your lovingly maintained litter box.

On a different note, I wonder if cat shit is a good casing substance . . . hmmm

I will try the moth balls, the mouse traps agree with my sentiment but they could cause political problems with the neighbors. Damn cats have been ripping up my shrooms.

Hmmm, never had a problem with cats with my outdoor grows but they sell quite a few different brands of cat repellent in garden centres here in the UK

You probably started growing in this things shit hole. Moth balls should work, if it doesn't get a dog and tye it sp the rope just barely reaches the patch and if anything comes into that part of your yard it'll be in for a rude awakenning.
