Great YT channel even if you are sober but if I was stoned it would be other worldly. Great twisted animation and pop culture takes

I think the Johnny Depp Amber heard court case might’ve been my favorite of his that I’ve seen lately.

It’s just having heard those real life conversations taking place and then getting to see it animated almost verbatim.

It was just too much. Plus, I try my hardest to listen to what Johnny Depp says, and that has me cracking up every time.

I watch the fuck out of those old pro BW matches, dude. So good. I don’t like 2 as much, but high level BW gameplay gets me going

I confess that none of my 18 month to 3 year old LCs I stockpiled in the fridge are showing any signs of life :facepalm3: shoulda got off my lazy ass and made slants back then, got all the stuff to do it and then procrastinated. Maybe something will happen..but starting from spore in the meantime is a drag. Lookin for that instant gratification

I know the feeling. My fridge even killed all my slants.

Have you seen cryovial stasis? A tiny wedge in sterile distilled water can be stored at room temperature for years, evidently. And I've read a lot of claims that LC stores for years as well, at room temperature in a sealed vial.

I've now got all of my cultures in stasis vials. Storing and reviving are both very easy. I even put wedges from clean multispore plates in stasis - it costs nothing and makes it easy to roll the dice without germinating new spores (which may not even be viable by that point).

Check my trade list in my journal - I might be able to save you some time starting over.

I confess that I just finished a voluntary 48 hour ban. Actually that was not the confession, the confession is that it was 48 hours of horror. I have no difficulty to imagine what the 'winner' of the ban lottery must go through. Next time I'll be a bit more thoughtful before pressing the ban lottery button. I also confess that I'm a bit addicted to the shroomery. :mushroom2:

That’s what make the ban lotto and self ban options great.

I've been eyeing that cryovial tek, probably will give it a shot here on the next round. Slants seem inconvenient to use, though I've never used them.

That's very generous of you, I might reach out. Got some Rusty Whyte that is tearing through agar, already put some to LC and a grain jar pint to also test some rye grass seed that was laying around. Trying to get 11 or so old syringes going that I never got around to using, hopefully some will come alive and I can pull some fresh prints off them

I confess that I have a tub full of old grain soak water that I was going to do…something with, but I opened it up and now it’s a tub full of really bad breath.  The foul water went down the toilet, but I still haven’t brought the tub outside to hose down.  It’s just sitting there, building up stink for the next unfortunate person to open the lid.

🀒 That's one of my least favorite smells. If you can still smell it after a thorough washing set it out it out in the sun for few days. That should clear the smell. I've tried several remedies for removing odors from plastic, sun+time has been the only successful method so far.

Im embarrassed to say how many times I've gotten home after fishing and forgot a bucket of minnows in the bed of the truck. Im even more embarrassed to say how many times it's taken me more than a day to remember they were back there. Something about a closed 5gal bucket in the middle of summer makes the water not hold oxygen or something...who knew? Dead fish stew with that oil slick on the surface...Gotta just nut up and deal with it, and apparently learn absolutely fuckin nothing, bc I will eventually do it again. Lol

I confess that I have clean cultures of what might be mold, and if they don't sporulate on the plate soon, I'm seriously considering sending them to grain to see whether they really are mold.

I have had / currently have all the exact same agar confessions.  I’ll add that I still have completely dried out cracker crisp plates, some of which definitely have contam dried into them, and you’d have to pry them from my cold dead hands if you wanted me to part with them.

Just made some transfers of this type of multiple plates last night, 2 agar years has to be like 80 human years or so, those things were wrinkly
